Are you interested in English country houses? Their owners, their silver, furniture, porcelain, libraries and gardens? And are you free to attend a 16 day residential course (28 June – 13 July), travelling across England with like-minded professionals from around the world? Then The Attingham Summer School needs you! And the Silver Society is delighted to announce a fully-funded scholarship for the 2025 Summer School, made possible by the generous bequest of scholar and collector Timothy Arthur Kent.
The scholarship will cover the full residential course fee (however the successful candidate must cover their own transport costs to/from the start point). Applications are open to members and non-members of the Silver Society alike – so please do pass this along to any interested parties.
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be resident in the UK but can be of any nationality.
Applicants must be professionally or academically involved in the world of silver.
Applications must be made through the Attingham Trust website by 31st January 2025, completing the scholarship application section at the bottom of the course application form opting in to be considered for the Silver Society scholarship.
Please note that the Silver Society scholarship is not yet listed on the main course page, but is mentioned in the section on ‘Scholarships’.
